Premier Square (SQ) Black door thresholds are designed to neatly hide carpet edges while creating a clean, secure join against an adjoining hard floor surface. With a slim 12mm profile and durable construction, this door bar provides a smart and practical finishing touch for a wide range of interiors.
The Premier Square (SQ) door threshold is a smart and secure solution for joining carpet to hard flooring, including stone, real wood, ceramic tiles, and laminate. Designed to neatly finish carpet edges, it creates a clean transition where the carpet meets another surface, such as across doorways or against features like French door frames.
The carpet is held firmly in place under tension by integrated teeth, while the adjoining hard floor simply butts up against the trim for a neat and professional finish.
Made from a solid brass bar with rounded edges and finished in black, this door threshold strip is both durable and long-lasting, offering a practical solution that also enhances the overall look of your flooring.
Important:
Both floors should be level in order for the trim to lie flat. 3mm MDF strips are included and can be used to raise the base if needed. Underlay should stop short of the door threshold.
The Premier Square (SQ) is compatible with:
Not suitable for:
Uneven flooring without adjustment
Measure the width of your doorway or the area where the carpet meets the hard floor. Choose a slightly longer length so the door threshold strip can be trimmed to fit precisely.
Ensure both floor surfaces are level. If there is a slight difference in height, use the included 3mm MDF strips to raise the base and achieve a flush finish.
If your carpet needs to be raised to meet the pins, Easyshims can be used to create a gradual ramp.
