Flooring & Door Compatibility
This threshold bar can be used to join:

It is suitable for internal doorways, including standard hinged doors and most sliding or bi-fold doors, provided there is sufficient clearance beneath the door (minimum 3mm).
The Posh 30mm version is great for most types of flooring, but use the 38mm or 55mm with carpets.

How to Choose the Right Width Door Threshold
Selecting the correct width ensures both a secure fit and a tidy appearance:
- 30mm: Best for same-level hard floors, vinyl, or thin, stick-down flooring. Not suitable for fitted carpets with gripper rods.
- 38mm: A flexible option for most flooring types, including carpet with underlay.
- 55mm: Recommended for thicker flooring builds or where there is a larger height difference between rooms.

How to fit:
- Position centrally over the floor join
- Drill pilot holes, avoiding underfloor heating
- Screw down firmly so fixings sit flush
- When joining two hard floors, allow a 12mm gap between surfaces for the underside channel
