For thinner carpets, the Single 4 may be more suitable, while thicker carpets may require the Single 13 profile.

How to Install the Aluminium Single 9
Measure the doorway or flooring transition and cut the profile to length using a hacksaw.
Position the threshold between the carpet and adjoining floor covering.
Fix the threshold using a suitable adhesive, screws or nails.
Avoid fixing into areas containing underfloor heating.
Ensure the carpet underlay stops short of the threshold.
Secure the carpet into position.
Once installed, the profile can be gently napped down using a carpeted wood block. This can help provide a firmer grip on the carpet and may reduce the finished height by approximately 3mm.
