The Ali Tramline End is designed to cover the expansion gap left around the edge of a room when installing dry-back vinyl flooring or laminate flooring. This type of flooring is often referred to as "floating" flooring because it naturally expands and contracts over time.

The profile features a recessed channel that accepts a strip of your flooring, creating a coordinated finish that blends seamlessly with the surrounding floor. Once fitted, the trim is attached to the skirting board using integrated self-adhesive strips, providing a neat and continuous edge around the room or against features such as sliding doors.

Suitable for both curved and straight edges, the Ali Tramline End offers an alternative to traditional wood scotia trims and mouldings. Manufactured from robust aluminium, it is available in a choice of polished brass, chrome, antique brass and black finishes.

How to Install the Ali Tramline End

For 3mm and 5mm Recess Options

• Measure carefully and select the correct recess depth.
• Ensure the surface is clean and free from dust and dirt.
• Cut a strip of vinyl or laminate flooring to fit the recess.
• Remove the inner self-adhesive backing and fix the flooring strip into the recess.
• Remove the outer self-adhesive backing.
• Fix the profile to the skirting board.

For the 1mm Recess Option

• Measure and prepare a suitable strip from the top layer of your WPC or SPC flooring.
• Peel away the patterned surface layer.
• Remove the inner self-adhesive backing and place the flooring layer into the recess.
• Remove the outer self-adhesive backing.
• Fix the profile to the skirting board.
